Largs Sailing Club clubhouse

3.   The Largs Sailing Club clubhouse has transformed LSC from a relatively small organisation based in the town, to a very strong and healthy club. Built in 1999, it now provides the sailing club members with all modern facilities, and the club is regularly chosen to host National championships.

It, together with Fairlie Yacht Club, runs Largs Regatta Week – which takes place in 2006 from 26th August to 3rd September.

The club has its own slip immediately opposite and adjacent to a car park. Their website has a webcam and plenty of information. Around the grounds of the marina and the sailing club there is excellent parking for cars - and boats.

The Scottish Sailing Institute (SSI) is based in the Largs Sailing Club clubhouse, and organises sailing events at Largs. The championship sailing is either in the Largs channel or to the north of the Isle of Cumbrae.
