Red Rose Equity Partners, LLC, a private equity firm that has been established to develop emerging technologies, has acquired Boat Bunkers International of Cape Coral, Florida. Boat Bunkers produces a unique in-water mooring station that keeps boat hulls clean and eliminates the need for anti-fouling paints.

Administrators Appointed for Challenger Syndicateships

Administrators from business rescue, recovery and restructuring specialists Begbies Traynor have been called in to the ailing Challenger Syndicateships partnership and its sister company, Challenger Syndicateships Ltd. The Worcestershire-based firms offer shared ownership of yachts, narrow boats and low wash cruisers.

London boat Show finishes on a high

While we didn't manage to get to it, all reports suggest that the 54th Collins Stewart London Boat Show, in association with the Daily Mail, finished on a high today after a successful, action-packed ten days that really put the "Show" into Boat Show.

Dehler acquires ETAP

Dehler, the makers of Sea Dreamer, has announced the acquisition of Belgium's ETAP Yachting for an undisclosed sum.

According to a company statement, ETAP Yachting's production facilities and its established brands will be fully maintained and further expanded under Dehler's ownership.
