				<title>Lone yachtsman calls home for rescue</title><link>http://www.sea-dreamer.com/newspage.asp?storyid=1011</link><description>At just after midday yesterday, Falmouth Coastguard was contacted by its French colleagues reporting that they had received a telephone call from the father of a yachtsman who was sailing single handed to America. 
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The yachtsman had rung his dad using his iridium satellite phone reporting that he had capsized and was trapped in the upturned hull. 
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Falmouth Coastguard was informed that the yacht was in a position 440 miles west south west of the Isles of Scilly.

				<title>Regatta rescue after squall</title><link>http://www.sea-dreamer.com/newspage.asp?storyid=1010</link><description>Irish emergency services successfully rescued over 100 children this afternoon after their dinghies were hit by a sudden squall. The children were competing in a junior regatta run by the Royal St George Yacht Club in Don Laoghaire.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&#8216;Suddenly the wind blew up and visibility dropped and we had to get the kids out,&#8217; Paula O'Connor, club administrator, told the BBC.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Ninety-one boats capsized, prompting race organisers to seek immediate help from the Coastguard and other emergency services.

				<title>Rescue for Swedish yachties</title><link>http://www.sea-dreamer.com/newspage.asp?storyid=998</link><description>Two Swedish nationals have been rescued from their life raft 55 miles northeast of Dover, after their yacht started to sink late on Sunday evening.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Dover Coastguard received a faint Mayday at 23:30 hours (Sunday evening) from one of the two crews on board a yacht called Atlanta, stating they were going to take to their life raft as the vessel was taking on water and starting to list.

				<title>Sea search for father after toddler dies</title><link>http://www.sea-dreamer.com/newspage.asp?storyid=984</link><description>The UK Coastguard is searching the seas off Littlehampton for the father of a two year old boy who was discovered floating in the water yesterday evening. An empty dinghy had been found shortly before the little boy was pulled from the water. Medics tried to save the toddler, but he died later in hospital.

According to Solent Coastguard, the agency was contacted at about twenty minutes to seven on Sunday evening, by a yacht reporting that they had come across a dinghy floating empty about a mile out to sea. 				<title>Three injured in Brighton collision</title><link>http://www.sea-dreamer.com/newspage.asp?storyid=975</link><description>Three people were injured at Brighton on Saturday lunchtime when a jet boat collided with a jet ski propelling it through the windshield of an anchored speedboat.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
According to the Solent Coastguard, the driver of the jet ski suffered an injured arm requiring stitches. Minor injuries were sustained by two people on the speed boat. 
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The jet ski is owned by a London man in his 30's and the jet boat was hired from Sussex Water Sports.
